It started with dull, aching Monday.Geometry was jeopardizing my so called enthusiasm about studying sincerely and diligently. All thanks to Shubham,my cousin ,who brought in the temptation of "Final destination 4"on a dry ,barren Sunday. It was a hard choice but the movie had to be the destination for Monday morning, it seemed. The movie was good but in the sense of brutality, violence and rawness. In all, weird one for weirdos.

The violence continued with Geometry and with "The other hand",a novel by Chris Cleave. But the novel gave in to my persistence and perseverance which ultimately made me fall in love with it.It is about two women,Little Bee and Sarah.Bee belongs to Nigeria and Sarah is from UK.The story is very interesting. It opens the picture of Nigeria, its fuel war, detention centers in UK and psyche of refugees.Sacrifice is the foundation of all the happenings in the story. The plot of the story is very small but the depth is what constitutes 380 pages.I wont rate it as a "must read" but surely would recommend as something different and amusing.

The week was supposed to end with 'Housefull" and luckily it ended with it.Thanks to Andy who had booked the show for us.As far as Housefull is concerned, there comes the dose of laughter for the month.A typical masala flick with gorgeous Lara Dutta and witty Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh. In critic's words, its 3/5..

The week was also about driving back on my CD 100 while it was drizzling on Sunday night, eating Kairees (kachcha aam)every night just before sleeping and most importantly it was about declaring armistice with geometry...
       Cheers!!!

I was shocked to know this. When I read about it, i just said ,"What the crap?"Our own MTDC was planning to construct lavatories near Lonar sarovar, the famous and only crater in India. Now,you  will ask what is wrong in that?Well, the problem was MTDC had planned to construct those lavatories  within 50m of lake circumference with drains. Thanks to PIL filed by local authorities, the court has ordered a stay on it.Even in one's utterly foolish dreams one would be incapable of justifying it.The crater is anyways famous for the negligence it has been awarded over years by us, the Indians. The lake was recently in news for the pollution of its water caused by fertilizers and pesticides used in the vicinity area.
Guys, I think this basic information is a must know about Lonar. The Magnificent lake is situated in Buldhana district. Its a hypervelocity crater.the water tastes salty and correct me if I'm wrong but its the only salt water lake in India.Recent studies have shown presence of magnetotactic bacteria and nitrogen fixation in its water.
I feel ashamed of myself when inspite of spending 8 years in Vidarbha,I couldnt find time, energy and willingness to visit  this aesthetically pleasant place. The crater is going to be at the top in "to do's list" whenever I'm leaving for Nagpur.Lonar!!!!!Here I come!!!

Are you a sex addict or you just have an increased libido?Well, being a doctor, I would like to help you on this.Lets consider a benign condition,''increased libido".The dictionary meaning of Libido is one's sexual urge or sexual energy.Having physiological amount of libido is considered normal. Moreover, if your partner is sharing the same amount of libido then its perfect for a relationship. Its not abnormal to have increased urge to have sex.The research has shown that sex is good for health. The problems do occur when the level of libidos deny to match in a relationship. We dont call it as a psychiatric abnormality but just a dissent.
On the other half,we have the term sex addict. The term is personified by legends like Tiger Woods,John Terry,Bill Clinton and many more.Sex addiction is defined as an addiction towards sex such that one's social, emotional and physical behaviour is affected drastically.Consider, the recent controversy about Tiger Woods. His sexual drive ended up destroying his family, his career, his fans and most importantly himself.Apparently there is some 12 step therapy for sex addicts. The therapy runs on similar tracts of Alcohol anonymous and narcotic anonymous.
So if you are in a physical relationship, there is no need to get scared by mere mismatch of libidos unless its affecting your life like Woods,Terry and Clinton. Its just a matter of convincing your partner and nothing else.

I would like to share two contrasting scenarios which took place on 8th March, the centenary of International Women's day.One was disappointing where as the other was heart warming. As we all know, women's quota bill was supposed to get passed  in RajyaSabha yesterday but all thanks to UPA,NDA and left's coalition. It seems they had prepared hard along with SP and RJD for adjourning the bill.Such a major setback for the quota drive, that too unexpected one.I feel the alliance had no idea about the roughness of the Mulayam carpet on which they were planning to saunter.
Moving to Oscars,Kathryn Bigelow became the first woman to win an Oscar for Best Director.I was amused to know that no woman had done it in 82 years history of Oscars. The other strong contender was James Cameron, the Avtar director and her ex-husband.According to me,James Cameron was the most luckiest person as he got the best stage to lose to his wife.I hope,Kathryn's locking with Oscars wont hurt Mr.Cameron rather it will erase the differences between the two.

The most difficult thing in this simple life is to start.one who starts well generally ends well.exceptions are always there. Now,at this point I've no idea what I'm supposed to start with and where it is supposed to be intended.I am seeing a philosopher erupting out of me.Suddenly I feel,I have started looking at life in a different perspective.

I would like to share something seriously interesting and eye-opening.The thing has a prologue.Apparently British Prime Minister Gordon Brown was accused of bullying his staff member.10 Downing Street straight away turned into bread and butter for media persons. When his personal secretory conducted a press conference, political experts were shocked to see his reply.Probably, the reply came out of the blue(s).The PS was seen unprepared for questions and in the heat he not only tried to rationalize PM's behaviour but criticized the media for turning such a "small" thing into a national issue. This blunder is going to cost a lot to conservatives as elections are due in few months with Torris certainly having an upper hand.
The editorial of The Times says, the entire fiasco is a perfect example of political law of thermodynamics. The law is,"If there is equal and opposite reaction, the story is not going anywhere."
I was mesmerised by the aptness of the law.I feel, the law is not limited to politics but has limits beyond our imagination.Even in day to day life, the troubles are going to persist till we keep reacting in equal and opposite ways. How many times we have seen ourselves indulging in ridiculous issues just because of our reactions? How many times we have seen ourselves suprpassing a problem by just not reacting to it?Well, answers lie deep within ourselves.
